Karachi’s National Bank stadium revamped for Champions Trophy

Karachi’s National Bank Stadium is now a modern cricket stadium for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) unveiled the renovated stadium, assuring players and fans a top-notch experience.

Upgrades include opulent dressing rooms, elegant hospitality facilities, 350 powerful LED floodlights, two modern digital replay displays, and nearly 5,000 new chairs for spectator enjoyment. These changes aim to improve match-day atmosphere and broadcast quality.

The Champions Trophy will be played in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi from February 19 to March 9. India plays its games in the UAE because to political tensions.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said, “This reflects our ambition to bring Pakistan’s cricket venues to international standards.” This is the stadium’s first major renovation since the 1996 World Cup. Nearly 5,000 personnel prepared for this global event.

The Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore has also been updated with LED lights, displays, and better spectator facilities. Both sites demonstrate Pakistan’s dedication to world-class sports after decades of limited global tournaments.

The renovated Karachi stadium symbolizes Pakistan’s commitment to cricket and promises amazing experiences for spectators and international teams.
