Strong exception to the rules of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur against the party’s highest official Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUIF) has taken.
On Friday, the JUIF spokesman asked the PTI leadership to clarify whether party policy included attacking Maulana Fazlur Rehman by Ali Amin Gandapur.
“Ali Amin Gandapur has been disparaging remarks against Maulana Fazlur Rehman despite clear instructions from Imran Khan,” JUIF Spokesman Aslam Ghori said in a Friday statement.
Ali Amin Gandapur has been plotting to widen the gulf in relations between the two parties, according to the JUIF spokesman. Aslam Ghori remarked, ” Ali Amin Gandapur is Gorbachev of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.”
Such a mindset, he said, would make it difficult for a great opposition alliance to be formed, therefore benefiting the government and undemocratic forces.
“Whenever an opposition alliance is about to be formed, some conspirators start their schemes,” he stated.
The JUIF spokesman further asked the PTI leadership to monitor conspiracies inside the party stating that the grand alliance should not be considered as JUIF’s weakness. “Gandapur fears an opposition alliance since he wants to preserve his government,” he remarked.
He continued by saying that the KP chief minister has displayed his own poor mindset by disrespecting Ulema.
