JUI-F condemns killing of two party leaders in Balochistan

Hundreds of JUI-F leaders, workers, and supporters staged protests and sit-ins across Quetta and various parts of Balochistan on Friday, condemning the killing of two party leaders.

JUI-F Balochistan leaders, Wadera Ghulam Sarwar and Molvi Amanullah, were shot dead in Khuzdar district last Saturday. The two were returning home to the Tarsani area of Zehri when unidentified gunmen on motorcycles opened fire on them.

The protest was called by Senator Maulana Abdul Wasey, the provincial emir of JUI-F Balochistan.

In Quetta, JUI-F workers marched through different roads and streets, carrying party flags, placards, and banners. Upon reaching the Quetta Press Club, various party leaders addressed the protesters, strongly condemning the killings and criticizing the government’s failure to ensure public safety.

The demonstrators claimed that the government had lost its writ due to flawed policies and demanded the immediate arrest of those responsible for the killings.

Protests were also held in Dera Murad Jamali, Dera Allahyar, Khuzdar, Chaman, Musakhail, Zhob, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Loralai, and Qila Saifullah.
