Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has cautioned Pakistan’s armed forces to remain alert despite the recent ceasefire with India, expressing concerns over potential future hostilities. After eight weeks, Khan expressed his concerns about Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s plans in a private meeting with his sisters, including Aleema Khan. “In war, sixty percent of the game is mental,” he said, underscoring the psychological elements of combat. I worry that Modi might do something else.
According to Aleema Khan, her brother talked on the mood of the country, pointing out that people were happy but also emphasising the need for quick reactions in times of conflict. He said that there had been a “false flag operation” in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
Khan also blasted the 26th Amendment to the Constitution, calling it a way to legitimise the trial of civilians in military courts and a danger to the rule of law.
