Haris Rauf confident ahead of Pakistan-India cricket showdown

As anticipation builds around the Champions Trophy Group ‘A’ clash between arch-rivals Pakistan and India, Pakistan’s star fast bowler Haris Rauf has made it clear that the team feels no pressure ahead of the high-stakes game. Speaking to reporters in Dubai, Haris highlighted the team’s strong track record in the city and emphasized their focus on treating it like any other match.

“There’s no pressure in the game against India,” Haris said confidently. “The players are calm, and we’ve beaten India twice before in Dubai. Knowing the conditions here well gives us an advantage. Our game plan will depend entirely on the pitch and weather on match day.”

Acknowledging the absence of key batters Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub, Haris admitted it has disrupted the team’s balance but remained optimistic about others stepping up. “Obviously, losing in-form players like Fakhar and Saim is challenging, but we’re confident other batsmen will step up and fill the gap.”

The Pakistan cricket team hopes to capitalize on their familiarity with Dubai’s playing conditions while keeping expectations grounded. With emotions often running high in Pakistan-India encounters, Haris’s calm demeanor reflects the team’s determination to focus on the game rather than the occasion.
