The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has introduced advanced measures to ensure transparency and fairness in the examination paper marking process. Key initiatives include the installation of biometric attendance systems and CCTV cameras across all designated marking centers. The purpose of these technologies is to efficiently track employee performance, attendance, and discipline.
An upgraded Monitoring and Evaluation System, previously implemented during the Inter Second Annual Examinations of 2024, is now being applied to the Matric Annual Examinations of 2025. This system oversees the activities of head examiners, sub-examiners, supervisors, assistant head examiners, and other relevant officers, promoting accountability at every level.
BISE officials emphasize that maintaining impartiality and merit in the marking process is a top priority, ensuring that no student faces injustice. The enhanced measures are expected to improve staff performance and strengthen public trust in the examination system.
Recently, the Controller of Examinations visited marking centers at Government Boys Qadria Secondary School in Gujar Khan and Government Girls High School in Kallar Syedan, instructing staff to uphold transparency and merit in their work.
