Israeli strikes kill six south Lebanon residents.

Israel claimed it hit Hezbollah operatives in southern Lebanon, killing six.

The bombings were the latest Israeli attacks on south Lebanon despite a November ceasefire with Hezbollah after more than a year of warfare.

The Lebanese health ministry reported “two people were killed in an enemy strike on the village of Baraashit” near Nabatieh. An “Israeli enemy strike on a car in Yohmor al-Shaqeef led to the death of three people,” the ministry told the National News Agency.

The news agency reported that a drone hit a vehicle near the town during artillery firing.

The Israeli military said it “struck the terrorists” after “several Hezbollah terrorists were identified transferring weapons in the area of Yohmor in southern Lebanon”.

According to NNA, an Israeli drone targeted a car in the southern village of Maaroub, resulting in one fatality and one injury. According to the Israeli military, the air force killed a battalion commander in Hezbollah’s Radwan Force in Derdghaiya, near Maaroub, overnight.

He was accused of directing “advanced and directed numerous terror attacks against Israeli civilians” and military during the war and “terror attacks against Israel’s Home Front” in recent months.
