Pakistan launches first iPhone trade-in program

A new iPhone trade-in program has been launched in Pakistan by Jazz, a digital conglomerate, in partnership with Mercantile, an authorized reseller of Apple products. Customers can trade in their iPhone 11 or later model, which has been approved by the PTA, for a discount on the newest iPhone 16 series through this program. The trade-in value will be increased thanks to Jazz and Mercantile’s additional subsidy bonus.

Ali Fahd, Jazz’s Head of Marketing, highlighted the company’s commitment to closing the digital divide in Pakistan by increasing access to high-quality devices. This partnership provides an easy way to upgrade to the newest iPhone models, according to Nauman Durrani, CEO of Mercantile Pakistan.

Jazz Experience Centers in Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore currently offer the program. There is currently no way to take advantage of the trade-in offer on postpaid payment plans; it is only valid for full-price purchases.

Jazz has created a special six-month bundle for clients who buy a PTA-approved iPhone 16 through their platform, in addition to the trade-in. This bundle offers 200 GB of data, six months of free data, e-SIM activation, discount coupons, and six months of protection against theft, loss, and damage to your handset, up to a maximum of Rs. 100,000.

In addition, Jazz provides postpaid clients with a variety of payment choices, including the iPhone 16 series, on an 18-month installment plan.
