At a newly built sports facility in Karachi, Bilawal Bhutto practices paddle tennis.

Investigating Karachi’s developing sports scene, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is visiting a recently opened paddle sports facility at Bagh-e-IBN-e-Qasim. Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab has arranged the facilities.

Other officials, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, and Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab accompanied the PPP leader.

Enjoying a friendly competition that demonstrated the rising popularity of the sport in Karachi, Bilawal played paddle alongside Mayor Murtaza Wahab Wahab and CM Murad Ali Shah.

Later on, the leaders posed for pictures to represent their shared dedication to advancing sports and leisurely recreation in the city.

The establishment is a part of initiatives by the Sindh government to revive public areas and inspire a more active lifestyle among people living in Karachi.

Having supervised various urban development initiatives, Mayor Wahab thinks the new facility would inspire more Karachiites to investigate sports and make beneficial use of public areas.

The project fits with the larger initiatives of the Sindh government to increase leisure possibilities in the city.
