Pakistan observed Youm-e-Tahaffuz-e-Namoos-e-Risalat across the country on March 15 to highlight the sanctity of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Alaihi Wasallam). Organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the day focused on raising awareness and combating blasphemous content online.
Provincial authorities, including those in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, were directed to spearhead public campaigns emphasizing responsible use of social media. The ministry also encouraged citizens, especially the youth, to report any offensive content using the official online portal.
The initiative underscores Pakistan’s commitment to preserving religious values while fostering accountability in digital spaces.
