Coppola responded to his Razzie recognition by expressing pride in his unconventional filmmaking approach, criticizing Hollywood’s adherence to “gutless rules” and emphasizing the importance of artistic risk-taking.
The Razzie Redeemer Award, honoring past contenders who have achieved subsequent acclaim, was bestowed upon Pamela Anderson for her performance in “The Last Showgirl.”
