Rain predicted for Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Punjab cities

A number of locations in Punjab, including Islamabad and Rawalpindi, are expected to have rainfall starting on February 18, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). After a protracted dry spell, this much-needed rain will help alleviate present conditions and improve air quality.

February 17 is predicted to have largely dry weather with humidity levels ranging from 31 to 35%. However, from February 18-20, showers will be brought to places like Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal by a weather system that is entering the region. Mild precipitation, including snow, is also expected in the hill stations of Galyat and Murree.

Islamabad and Rawalpindi may see an increase in pollen counts around this time, so locals should be ready for a change in weather. Sun and clouds will coexist in Lahore, resulting in temperatures between 10 and 25 degrees Celsius, with just a remote possibility of precipitation.

After weeks of dry weather, this rain system brings much-needed respite. However, it is important to be updated about how conditions are changing.
