The Special Education Department planned a spectacular Sports Gala at Vehari’s Khurshid Anwar Stadium to promote inclusion and showcase the abilities of kids with special needs. The event, which was started by DC Vehari Imrana Tahir, showcased the limitless potential of youngsters with diverse needs by celebrating their extraordinary abilities.
Teamwork, self-confidence, and discipline were all fostered as participants displayed their athletic abilities in a variety of contests. DC Recognizing the value of these kinds of programs in helping children with special needs feel more comfortable participating in regular activities, Imrana Tahir lauded the students’ efforts. This group of young athletes shown that they can hold their own against the best of them, she said.
Zeeshan Ahmad, District Officer Special Education Multan, thanked everyone who came out and spoke about how important events like these are for promoting equity and inclusion. Distinguished guests were presented with their awards at the gala’s closing ceremony.
This program is part of a larger effort to make sports more welcoming to all people, with the goal of giving every kid an equal opportunity to succeed and make a positive impact on the world.
