On Thursday, a 5.4-magnitude earthquake shook parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported that the quake occurred at 5:56 am UTC (10:56 am Pakistan time) and had a magnitude of 5.4.
The epicenter was in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan, with a depth of 215 kilometers, according to the PMD.
Dawn News noted that the tremors were felt in several KP cities, including Mardan, Malakand, Hangu, Buner, Shangla, Dir, and Charsadda.
