Washington (Monitoring Desk) — U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that the deployment of American ground forces in Iran cannot be ruled out. He added that troops could be sent if necessary and that the most intense airstrikes against Iran are still pending.
Trump claimed that these attacks have killed approximately 49 senior Iranian leaders, including military and security officials. The operations aimed to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons and to neutralize their ballistic missile and naval capabilities.
Referring to the deaths of four U.S. soldiers, the president said the mission will continue with unwavering resolve in their memory. He also expressed surprise at the involvement of Arab countries and criticized Iran’s current leadership for delaying nuclear negotiations.
