Washington (Monitoring Desk): The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has claimed that US forces destroyed 16 Iranian vessels attempting to lay mines in the Gulf waters near the Strait of Hormuz.
According to CENTCOM, these ships were engaged in mine-laying activities in the Gulf, prompting the US Navy to take action and target them.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump had reported on social media that US forces had completely destroyed 10 ships and vessels attempting to lay mines over the past few hours.
