In an urgent statement, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the launch of “Epic Fury”, a broad operation targeting Iran’s navy and missile program. President Trump warned that the Revolutionary Guards could receive leniency if they surrender, otherwise serious consequences would follow.
According to Israeli defense officials, the attacks were months in planning, with intense coordinated air operations expected to continue for four days. Russian media reported that several Iranian military commanders were killed and intelligence headquarters targeted.
Iranian media reported missile strikes in University Street, Jomhuri Area, Khoramabad, Isfahan, and Mehrabad Airport, while Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was moved to a secure location. Both Iran and Iraq have closed their airspace, halting air traffic.
