Lahore (Sports Desk) — Due to the recent regional tensions, clouds of uncertainty have arisen over the Pakistan cricket team’s tour of Bangladesh. In light of the current situation, security and travel arrangements are being reassessed to ensure the safety of players and officials.
Sources indicate that while the schedule remains intact for now, alternative strategies are also under consideration given the uncertainty. Three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) are set to be played in Dhaka on March 11, 13, and 15, with the team expected to depart on March 9.
The team management is focused on the ICC World Cup and is considering giving more opportunities to young players. Players with unsatisfactory performances, including Babar Azam and Mohammad Nawaz, may be dropped. Meanwhile, Sahibzada Farhan, who performed impressively in the recent World Cup, is expected to be included in the squad for the series.
