Lahore (Sports Desk): Two crucial matches of the T20 World Cup Super 8 stage will be played today.
In the first Group 1 match, unbeaten teams South Africa and West Indies will face each other. Both teams won all four of their group-stage matches and secured big-margin victories in their first Super 8 games. South Africa defeated India by 76 runs, while West Indies beat Zimbabwe by 107 runs. The match will start at 2:30 PM Pakistan local time.
In the second Group 1 match at 6:30 PM, India will take on Zimbabwe. Both teams remained unbeaten in the group stage but lost their first Super 8 matches.
The winner between South Africa and West Indies will secure a semi-final spot, while the losing team in the India vs. Zimbabwe match will be eliminated from the semi-final race.
