Dubai (Sports Desk): In the first semi-final of the T20 World Cup, South Africa has set a target of 170 runs for New Zealand to chase.

Batting first in the knockout match at Eden Gardens, South Africa scored 169 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Marco Jansen starred for the Proteas with a blazing 55 not out. Other contributions came from Dewald Brevis (34), Tristan Stubbs (29), captain Aiden Markram (18), Quinton de Kock (10), David Miller (6), and Corbin Bosch (2), while Ryan Rickelton and Kagiso Rabada were dismissed without scoring.
