Doha (Monitoring Desk): Qatar has announced the arrest of two alleged sleeper cell operatives linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
According to the official news agency, a total of 10 individuals associated with the cells have been detained. Seven of them were tasked with spying on key and military installations in Qatar, while three were responsible for sabotage operations.
The report claims that during interrogation, the suspects admitted their affiliation with the Iranian military and confirmed involvement in espionage and sabotage missions. Officials stated that sensitive site maps, communication devices, and advanced technological equipment were recovered from the detainees.
