Rawalpindi (Sports Desk): The new Pakistan Super League (PSL) team, Rawalpindi, has announced its retention list. According to details, Rawalpindi, which became the most expensive team in PSL history, has retained key players across different categories.
In the Platinum category, Mohammad Rizwan has been retained for PKR 5.6 crore, while England’s Sam Billings has been retained in the Diamond category for PKR 3.08 crore. In the Gold category, Zaman Khan has been retained for PKR 1.12 crore, and in the Silver category, Yasir Khan has been retained for PKR 60 lakh.
It is worth noting that on February 9, former franchise Multan Sultans was purchased by Wale Technologies for PKR 2.45 billion, and the team was renamed Rawalpindi. Following the new owners’ retentions and planning, fans’ expectations for the team have significantly increased.
