Lahore (Sports Desk): The proposed schedule for the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 has been released, with the official announcement expected next week.
The opening match will be held on March 26 at Gaddafi Stadium between Lahore Qalandars and Hyderabad Kingsmen. Gaddafi Stadium will also host the final and two playoff matches on May 3.
Sources indicate that Rawalpindi will host the first qualifier match. All eight teams will play seven matches each in the first phase, while the second phase will feature two groups playing three matches each.
The groups are as follows:
- Group 1: Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings, Hyderabad Kingsmen
- Group 2: Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, Pindi Z, Multan Sultans
The first qualifier will take place on April 28 in Rawalpindi, the first eliminator on April 29 in Lahore, and the third eliminator on May 1 in Lahore.
