Lahore (Sports Desk): Major changes have been introduced in the administrative structure for the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Player selection will now take place through an auction instead of a draft, ensuring more balanced teams and better earning opportunities for players.
Under the new system, mentors, brand ambassadors, and right-to-match rules have been removed. Each franchise can retain four players before the auction, with a maximum of one player per category. New teams will also get the chance to select four players each prior to the auction to help build competitive squads.
