Prime Minister Takaichi Secures Clear Majority in Japan’s Elections

Tokyo (Monitoring Desk): In early elections in Japan, Prime Minister Takaichi achieved a decisive victory, retaining her position with a two-thirds majority in the lower house. The Liberal Democratic Party won over 300 seats on its own, securing a strong position in Parliament.

Taiwanese President Lai Ching congratulated Prime Minister Takaichi, stating that Taiwan is ready for full cooperation with Japan. He added that her victory will be significant not only for Japan but also for the development of the entire region.
