Oscars 2029 to Feature New Venue and Digital Broadcast for Fans

Lahore (Showbiz Desk): The world’s biggest film awards, the Oscars, are set to enter a new era in 2029, with major changes expected in the ceremony’s venue and broadcast system.

According to international media reports, the Oscars have been held for years at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. However, in 2029, the ceremony will move to L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles, a larger and more modern venue.

The new location will allow the red carpet, main stage, media coverage, and after-parties to take place in a single venue, making the event more organized and spectacular. The current theater, currently known as the Peacock Theatre, may be renamed in the future.

This change will also provide more space for fans and guests, giving more people the opportunity to experience the luxurious event up close. Additionally, starting in 2029, the Oscars will be broadcast on digital platforms, streaming worldwide for free on YouTube and available in the U.S. on YouTube TV.
