Netanyahu Accepts Invitation to U.S. Board of Peace

Tel Aviv (Monitoring Desk) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accepted an invitation from U.S. President Donald Trump to join the “Board of Peace.” Netanyahu’s office confirmed on Wednesday that the Israeli Prime Minister will participate in the global forum as a member.

According to the statement, the Board of Peace will comprise international leaders and aims to play a role in resolving global conflicts and promoting peace. Initially, the board was proposed to oversee the reconstruction of Gaza after the war, but AFP reports indicate that its charter is not limited to Palestinian territories alone.

The report further mentions that countries or leaders seeking permanent membership on the board are expected to contribute up to $1 billion. The White House presents the forum as a broad platform for global peace, with ongoing efforts to include leaders from various regions.
