New Delhi (Monitoring Desk):Former Indian politician and senator Shanta Chhetri has stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government is facing serious internal turmoil and major foreign policy failures, pushing India towards growing international isolation.
According to Shanta Chhetri, contrary to the government’s tall claims, India is currently grappling with grave political, economic, and diplomatic challenges, while the official narrative does not reflect the realities on the ground.
She said that Modi’s diplomacy is based on false assertions, which has raised serious questions about India’s economy, foreign policy, and strategic standing. Rising taxes, increasing unemployment, and soaring inflation have further intensified public hardships, she added.
The former senator noted that the imposition of trade tariffs on India by the United States and India’s withdrawal from major projects such as the Chabahar Port serve as clear evidence of the failure of the Modi government’s foreign policy.
