Washington (Monitoring Desk): U.S. Senator Marco Rubio has taken a firm stance on ongoing actions against Iran, warning that more destructive attacks could occur in the coming days.
He urged U.S. citizens in the Middle East to immediately contact their nearest embassies. Approximately 1,600 Americans have requested assistance to evacuate the region.
Rubio revealed that a drone was downed in the premises and parking area of a U.S. consulate, while American diplomatic offices are reportedly under direct threat. He accused Iran of targeting U.S. diplomatic missions in the region.
The senator emphasized that Iran will not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons under any circumstances, warning that if the Iranian regime were to gain nuclear capability, the consequences would be extremely dangerous.
