KP Government Demands PCB Take Notice as Peshawar Gets Only One Match in PSL

Peshawar (Sports Desk): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to contact the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) after Peshawar was allocated just one match in the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

According to KP Sports Advisor Taj Muhammad, Peshawar has been given only one match for the first time in PSL history, scheduled to be played on March 28. He stated that the provincial government had requested hosting at least five matches, but despite promises of two, only one match has been allotted.

Taj Muhammad added that giving Peshawar just one match after such a long time is unfair. He confirmed that formal communication will be made with the PCB to ensure that Peshawar gets the opportunity to host more matches.
