Iran Ready for Both War and Negotiations, Says Foreign Minister

Tehran (Monitoring Desk): Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Iran is prepared for both war and negotiations, asserting that the country’s current situation is fully under control.

Araghchi said that during the past weekend, there was an increase in violent incidents in the country, where terrorist elements targeted peaceful protesters and security forces. He emphasized that the protests were initially peaceful, but later escalated into violent clashes.

The Foreign Minister also reported that over the past two weeks, approximately 350 mosques were set on fire, yet security forces acted with maximum restraint and responsibility.

Araghchi highlighted that the protesters’ demands were legitimate and the government was attentively listening, while the administration remained actively engaged in protecting citizens and maintaining law and order.
