Iran Dismisses Reports of Executing Protesters as Baseless

Tehran (Monitoring Desk): Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has strongly rejected circulating reports claiming that protesters are being sentenced to death, calling such information completely baseless.

In an interview with a U.S. broadcasting network, Araghchi clarified that there is no plan under consideration to execute protesters, stressing that the very notion of such actions is unfounded and misleading.

According to him, Iran witnessed nearly ten days of peaceful demonstrations over economic issues, after which isolated incidents of violence occurred. He claimed that these violent acts were orchestrated by foreign elements, while the government continues to maintain control over the overall situation.
