Tehran (Monitoring Desk): Following the end of violent protests in Iran, international call services have been restored, though internet access remains suspended.
According to foreign news agencies, a U.S. human rights organization claims that 1,850 protesters have been killed during the demonstrations. A UN Human Rights spokesperson also stated that thousands have died in the violent incidents and emphasized that it is the government’s responsibility to stop the violence as soon as possible. These are considered the largest protests in Iran since 2022.
Iranian intelligence officials claimed to have recovered U.S.-made explosives and weapons from multiple homes. Additionally, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that they have evidence of terrorist agents receiving orders from abroad and expressed doubts that the U.S. is prepared for fair negotiations.
