Ismailia (Sports Desk): In the opening match of the Hockey World Cup qualifying round, Pakistan National Hockey Team delivered a stellar performance, defeating China 5-4.
Played in the Egyptian city of Ismailia, Pakistan established dominance over China from the start, scoring in the first half to take the lead. By adding two goals each in the second and third quarters, Pakistan secured the 5-4 victory.
The national team will play its second match of the event today against Malaysia
