Karachi (Commerce Desk) – Gold and silver prices saw a notable increase in both international and local markets on Tuesday.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold rose by $28 per ounce, bringing the new global price to $4,560 per ounce. Following the global trend, local markets recorded a rise of PKR 2,800 per tola, pushing the price of gold to PKR 478,762 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by PKR 2,401, reaching PKR 410,461. Silver prices also climbed, with the international price reaching $73 per ounce. In local markets, silver rose by PKR 260 per tola to PKR 7,784, and by PKR 223 per 10 grams to PKR 6,673.
It is worth noting that gold and silver prices had also increased in the previous trading session.
