Geneva (Monitoring Desk) – The second round of nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States has concluded, with Iran claiming that both sides have reached an agreement on the fundamental principles of a potential deal. However, several important issues remain unresolved.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said after the talks that the path to an agreement has begun and serious discussions took place between the two countries. He added that a mutual understanding has been reached on key points, but further discussions are needed on certain contentious issues.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei stated that the United States cannot destroy the Islamic Republic of Iran. His remarks have heightened concerns over military movements and potential conflict in the region.
