Lahore (Sports Desk): Pakistan’s aggressive opening batsman Fakhar Zaman will miss the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh due to a hamstring injury.
According to sources, Fakhar Zaman sustained the injury and will therefore be unavailable for the team during the Bangladesh tour. Shaheen Afridi will now lead Pakistan’s ODI team, and the tour will continue as planned.
The national team is scheduled to depart from Karachi on March 9, with the three ODIs set to be played in Dhaka on March 11, 13, and 15. The announcement of the full ODI squad will be made in the next day or two, pending approval from Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
