Alleged Safe Havens for Extremist Groups Reported in Afghanistan: Afghan Newspaper

Kabul (Monitoring Desk): Afghan newspaper Hasht-e Subh reported that certain extremist groups in Afghanistan are allegedly being provided with safe havens.

According to the report, several residential complexes in Ghazni Province have been constructed and designated for specific groups. These locations reportedly include religious schools and security arrangements.

The newspaper noted that various United Nations reports have also raised concerns about the presence and connections of certain active organizations in Afghanistan, which could further exacerbate national and regional security challenges.
