New Delhi (Showbiz Desk): Renowned Bollywood comedian Rajpal Yadav has been released from Tihar Jail after being granted interim bail by the Delhi High Court.
Speaking to the media after his release, Rajpal Yadav expressed his emotions for the first time and thanked his fans as well as the court.
The actor had been facing imprisonment in connection with a cheque bounce and loan dispute amounting to approximately 90 million Indian rupees. He had surrendered to authorities after appearing before the court in December 2025.
Following the hearing, the court granted him interim bail until March 18, 2026, allowing him to remain free until a final decision is reached.
After his release, Rajpal Yadav stated that his 30-year film career will be completed in 2027 and that he intends to continue working closely with people in the future. He added that throughout his long journey, the entire country and Bollywood stood by him, enabling him to work in approximately 200 to 250 films.
The actor further remarked, “If I am facing any allegations, I will respond to them and appear fully before the court.”
