Karachi (Showbiz Desk): A local court in Karachi has extended the interim bail of popular YouTuber Raja Butt in the case of blasphemy until March 30.
The hearing took place at the Central Sessions Court, where the Additional District and Sessions Judge approved a request to adjourn the hearing by Raja Butt’s lawyers. Raja Butt, released on interim bail, appeared in court, where the plaintiff’s lawyer informed the court that the defendant appeared at 9:30 a.m. instead of the scheduled 8:30 a.m., requesting that the bail be canceled.
The plaintiff’s lawyer also stated that they were fully prepared to present evidence, but Raja Butt’s legal team was absent because, according to a junior lawyer, the primary counsel, Mian Ali Ashfaq, was on official leave.
