Karachi (Showbiz Desk): A harassment incident involving renowned singer Rabi Pirzada occurred in Karachi’s Defence area, following which police took swift action and arrested the accused.
According to police, the incident took place yesterday in Defence Phase 7, where a man traveling in a car harassed Rabi Pirzada and her driver. Defence C Police stated that upon receiving the singer’s complaint, a case was registered and an investigation was initiated.
Initial investigations revealed that the accused not only behaved abusively but also resorted to violence. When resistance was offered, Rabi Pirzada’s driver was also assaulted. As per the facts recorded in the FIR, the accused’s conduct further escalated the situation, prompting the affected party to approach the police.
Upon receiving information about the incident, police acted promptly and took the suspect into custody. Police officials said that investigations are ongoing and all aspects of the case are being thoroughly examined to ensure that facts are established and legal action is completed in accordance with the law.
