Lahore (Sports Desk) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made it clear to players that posting controversial content on social media will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Sources stated that strict compliance with the Central Contract Policy has been mandated, requiring centrally contracted players to obtain approval from the PCB Media Department before posting anything on social media. Failure to comply may result in severe disciplinary action.
Following Nasim Shah’s recent controversial post, the PCB also sent a reminder of the media policy to players’ managers, emphasizing that no form of controversial posting will be accepted. Nasim Shah was fined two million rupees for violating the media policy and was required to issue a formal apology for his post.
All players have assured PCB officials that they will fully adhere to the media policy going forward.
