Pakistani Showbiz Mourns Death of Iran’s Supreme Leader

Lahore (Showbiz Desk): The joint US and Israel operation in Iran that resulted in the assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has sparked widespread grief in Pakistan and across the world. Pakistani showbiz figures and the public have described his death as a major loss for the Muslim Ummah.

Actress Mishi Khan shared a story and video message on Instagram expressing condolences with tears, writing that one of the most respected figures in the world was killed, but history will never forget that the 86-year-old leader stood firm against evil forces until his martyrdom.

Actress Nadia Khan said on a private TV Ramadan transmission that this is a difficult time for Muslims, and those who are not united are paying a heavy price. She called Khamenei’s death a major shock for the Muslim Ummah.

Actor Aqeel Malik wrote on Instagram that the heads of the righteous do not bow—they fall. Maya Ali shared a picture of the leader on Instagram, saying heroes never die; they live on in hearts and stand strong against enemies.

Actor and singer Samar Jafri said in an Instagram story that Khamenei’s martyrdom answered a long-standing question in his mind about where the Muslim Ummah was during the time of Hazrat Husayn ibn Ali (RA). Actor Khalid Anam wrote: “All lights will go out, no one owns the wind—farewell, Agha Jan.”

Other Pakistani showbiz personalities, including Madiha Rizvi, Aiman Khan, Manal Khan, Talha Chahour, Khaqan Shahnawaz, Sana Javed, and Yumna Zaidi also posted condolences on social media, paying tribute to the leader’s services.
