Islamabad (Commerce Desk): Due to regional tensions and the current uncertainty, the Pakistan-Russia Business Forum scheduled for March 4 during Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s upcoming visit to Russia has been cancelled.
Sources said the decision to cancel the forum has been formally made, and the relevant delegations have been informed. The forum was expected to host meetings between over 100 Pakistani companies and Russian business entities. However, given the current security and aviation situation, the cancellation was deemed necessary.
While no official announcement has been made regarding the Prime Minister’s visit itself, the cancellation of the business forum is seen as a significant development in light of the prevailing conditions.
