Lahore (Showbiz Desk): Senior Pakistani actor Rashid Mahmood has recently expressed deep disappointment and frustration over the behavior of some YouTubers. He made it clear that he does not need anyone and that there is no need for them to come to him for interviews.
Rashid Mahmood is a renowned film and television actor in Pakistan, known for his outstanding performances in classic dramas such as Shaheen, Nizam, Kajol Ghar, Andhera Ujala, Mirza Ghalib, Riyasat, Mohabbat Rooth Jaye To, among others. He is often cast in negative roles and has been honored with the Pride of Performance award by the Government of Pakistan for his contributions.
A few days ago, the actor informed his fans about his illness, revealing that he had been bedridden for 21 days and was under treatment at Jinnah Hospital and by various doctors. Recently, in a video, he expressed his anger at YouTubers for misrepresenting him.
Rashid Mahmood stated that some YouTubers are using him to boost their channel views and popularity, portraying him as if he is financially needy, even though he has never asked anyone for money. He emphasized that the headlines created during interviews are often twisted, which affects his reputation.
He reassured his fans that he is recovering and, with Allah’s grace, is feeling better. The actor made it clear that he is fine and politely requested that YouTubers refrain from approaching him.
