Mumbai (Showbiz Desk): Gauri Khan, wife of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and a renowned interior designer, has transformed her nearly century-old ancestral home into a modern luxury resort. The project is being described as one of the most emotional and personal milestones of her life.
Despite being married to a global film icon, Gauri Khan has built a distinct identity of her own in the field of interior design. She has designed homes for several prominent personalities and also showcased her creative vision in the décor of her Mumbai residence, Mannat.
Most recently, she completely renovated the family property, originally built in 1933, and converted it into a stunning six-bedroom villa equipped with modern amenities. The property is located in the scenic hill station of Dalhousie, offering guests breathtaking natural views and a serene environment.
According to media reports, the historic house has now officially been opened as a luxury resort where guests can book their stay. The location holds deep sentimental value for Gauri Khan, as she spent memorable childhood vacations there with her family. The project was carried out in collaboration with her cousin Rustam Tewari, while the property is owned by her uncle Tejendra Tewari. Reports suggest that the nightly stay at the resort has been priced at approximately 120,000 Indian rupees.
