Lahore (Showbiz Desk): A sessions court in Lahore has approved a request to conduct a forensic examination of YouTuber Ducky Bhai’s wife, Aroob Jatoi’s mobile phone in connection with a gambling app promotion case. The court has granted investigating authorities permission to proceed with the necessary action.
Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Ali Qureshi heard Aroob Jatoi’s petition for interim bail. The accused appeared before the court accompanied by her lawyers, Usman Advocate and Aftab Advocate. During the hearing, the investigating officer of the NCCIA stated that a forensic analysis of the accused’s mobile phone was essential to complete the investigation and requested time from the court.
The court accepted the request and granted permission for the mobile forensic examination. The defense counsel argued that forensic reports are usually not received within one or two weeks and requested that the next hearing be scheduled after Ramadan.
The court extended Aroob Jatoi’s interim bail until March 24 and directed her to ensure her attendance at the next hearing. Judge Mansoor Qureshi made it clear that no further exemptions from appearance would be granted during the interim bail period.
It is worth mentioning that the NCCIA has registered a case against Aroob Jatoi over the alleged promotion of a gambling app, and investigations are ongoing.
