Lahore (Showbiz Desk): Pakistani singer and actor Ali Zafar has released a new naat titled “Sohna Nabi” in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Announcing the release on social media, Ali Zafar said the piece comes at a time when the world appears more filled with noise, harshness, and division than ever before, and people are still searching for light, mercy, and compassion.
In his message, he wrote that “Sohna Nabi” is a humble naat presented in love and remembrance of the beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. According to him, the life and message of the Holy Prophet brought light to a world once immersed in darkness, and his teachings continue to guide humanity toward dignity, kindness, and mutual respect.
Ali Zafar described the naat as a small expression of his love and devotion, calling it a tribute to the most beautiful of all creations.
The audio for the naat was produced by Ali Zafar himself, while the lyrics, composition, and musical arrangement were created by Hassan Badshah. The recording features tabla by Aamir Ali, dholak by Taimoor Ali Haider, and additional instruments performed by Haider Ali and Ustad Tanveer Hussain.
The video for the naat was also produced, directed, and edited by Ali Zafar himself.
